Playoffs, and FICS Server Re-set

The playoffs are here! As usual, the first placed teams (who appear on the left hand side on the pairings page) have draw odds, and will be declared section champions in case their match ends in a 2-2 tie.

We also have a playoff for 3rd/4th in the Alekhine section, to compensate for the short length of the round robin in that section. This will run parallel to the championship matches between the top two finishers in each section, but it is merely a consolation prize, not a playoff into a later match (this is the final round of the tourney).

Finally, earlier today we received news that FICS was moving to a new server, with the migration process to take place this weekend (July 31st-August 2nd). As such there will be some server outages during this period. Unfortunately this is all the information available right now, though apparently updates about server outages will be posted here: https://status.freechess.org/
