Some Loose Ends

TL41 will start in early January 2010.

I will not try and schedule an event during the winter holidays. 

The apparent discrepancy in the FICS "clock" in the game forum being off by an hour compared to server time has been fixed. Thanks for your patience and flexibility.

Also, semi-finalist Open team, Intermonster has had unexpected difficulties fielding a complete team, and their captain, Hypermagnus, withdrew his team, rather than forfeit in the finals. Therefore, Archbishops_Goodbishops moves into the Open finals.

Playoffs:

Open - are underway; semi-finals of knockout; winners meet in finals.

U1600, U1800, U2000 - the top two teams from each section of single round robin will advance to playoffs. These four teams will play in another single round robin to determine championship. Earlier match/game points do not carry over and there will be no tie-breaker beyond the championship match/game points.

U1600 will start Oct 27

U1800 and U2000 will start Nov 3.

There are no extensions in playoffs, so work hard on scheduling.

T39 GOTW

After much procrastination, I am (finally) arranging the prizes for last TL GOTW selections.
