Round 5 and Onwards

Captains are reminded that the deadline for adding new players to a team is next Monday (i.e. the day before the start of round 6) at 19:00.

Captains and players in the Polgar section should note that round 6 is the final regular round before the start of the playoffs. However, playoffs in Polgar will take place in round 8, in order to run parallel with the playoffs in all other sections. This means that extensions are possible in all rounds in the Polgar section.

However, all other players should note that extensions are not possible in round 7. All round 7 games need to be finished by 19:00 on Tuesday, December 10th in order for playoff pairings to be set. A further announcement will follow regarding the rules for playoffs, but these are unchanged from past tourneys.
