I review the round 3 games finished so far and give them stars. If somebody wants to join the later shows, I'd be happy to have you on. :)

Neat idea. You might consider using the watchbot board so that you can react and "converse" with the players themselves based on the whispers, as you review their games.

Hi herrahuu,

I really like the idea of game reviews. You did a great job! Thank you very much!

I agree on the proposal by joshuar. There are quite some players/observers who comment a lot and share their ideas and plans. For instance, I mentioned 23... Rg4! and 32... Bf4! in my game against diduk, which would have decided the game in favor of diduk probably.

There are more than 70 games per week and it would be too much work to review all of them. Maybe, it is a good idea to focus on the 3 games of the week or a couple of your favorite games and analyse them in more detail (explain the ideas/plans of the opening briefly, show some of the critical positions, look at mistakes, blunders …).
Another idea would be to show one tactic per round as an exercise for the observers.
When you need any help, feel free to contact me!

Best regards,
schachbjm

P.S. I played a second game on this day against lingye (round 2; ruy loyez deferred steinitz with the black pieces; 1:0).

Yeah. I did realize the watchbot would be nice way to go through the games after the recording. Very nice suggestions overall! Thanks for all the kindness in choosing how to give feedback.

I think there used to be some tl game of the week sort of video show earlier? This could be done - maybe together on skype or so. 70 games is enormous task - agreed - and no way of going through them with much of thought. I am probably pushing on going through the games much more superficially and emphasizing on what makes them entertaining or not on my view.

All the production values were very low, maybe just crop essential to video feed, take the ratings straight to one part of the video and maybe but them on order as we proceed.

Maybe the tactic could be posted just in this forum for our general enjoyment? By whoever likes to post it? :) BJM, if you are interested you could be the "commentator" to give some true chess content on the talks. :)

The idea to post review of every game with some quick runabout was impossible. Too much video to go through. So I run the games by myself now and look at the ones I gather were most entertaining.
