What do you think about sending reminders to the players, some fixed amount of time before the planned game starts? I think that 1 or 2 hours ahead might be good. It already happened to me a few times that my team mates forgot, but appeared within the 30 minutes period when I pinged them by email. And right this round, one of our opponents missed the time, because he thought he agreed 6pm instead of 6am.

Is it doable? Would other people find it useful, too?
