Would it possible to alter the code so it doesn't send you messages that are copies of your own posts? It's not a big deal, but getting a message with a copy of my own post is pointless.

I could do that, but only if everyone agrees with the change. I wouldn't want to spend time on it, only to have other people complain that they like getting a copy of their messages.

Oh please fix that. It is pointless indeed. If you need proof that you posted in the forum it would be in the forum :), unless someone has a really unreliable connection where when he clicks submit in the game forum he doesn't know whether it has been sent or not. In that case his fics connection may not be working anyway.
