I think the team who finish in 1st place should receive a reward thats mean go directly to the final.Tean # 2 play team # 3 in the semi final.the winnier play the team who finish 1st in the final.

With that formula the interest will be good till the end because 1 more team will make the playoff.

Currently, Team #1 gets white onboard 1 and 3, plus draw odds in the match.

We used to have longer playoff rounds, but the increased interest is mainly for teams still playing, and less so for the teams who did not make playoffs.
