what do you think about giving reading permission (not writing permission though) in game forum for all team members. That way, some forfeit losses might be prevented by active team mates in case the captain forgets to care about.
Another small suggestion (not worth a new topic): Just like the "completed games" list, how about an "upcoming games" list arranged chronologically? That way you can see more easily when your friends will be playing.

I like the idea of giving read permission to all team members. I think the challenge would be how to show teammates' game forums in a way that doesn't confuse new players or clutter the list of game forums.

Excellent idea. Hopefully its implementation is reasonable in terms of programming and implementation (as noted above by wmahan).
