I was wondering why the league is so secretive about the reasons for the ban on different players. I agree that the league need not and should not disclose its methods but I think that the reasons for the forfeits should be made public. Is there a good reason for why the reasons are kept a secret too?

FICS itself has very strict secrecy about such matters, so we in turn follow that policy. For instance, it is against FICS rules to publicly accuse a player of cheating, so TL cannot publicly give reasons or even acknowledge if a player has been banned.
