Daylight Saving Time
Players should note that daylight saving time will end in various parts of the world this weekend.
However, FICS server time will not change until the following week: On Sunday, November 6th, 02:00 EDT will become 01:00 EST. Please keep this change in mind, as well as any changes in your part of the world. If in doubt, make use of the "date" command on FICS.
The clocks in the game forums should reflect the change as it happens, however there have been issues with this in the past, so we encourage players to check on FICS instead.
