T48 Playoffs

While for many T48 has already ended, for a select few, the playoffs are upon us (the rest of us can enjoy the spectacle)!

At the risk of repeating myself, I want to remind players that the playoff round must end on Tuesday, December 20th, at 19:00, and that in case of a 2-2 tie, the higher seed (shown first on the pairings page) will be awarded the title.

Also, the Alekhine section standings require a brief explanation: although Black&White_India_2 appear in second place, they in fact finished third, behind Cyclists_Archbishop. Both teams finished equal on MPs and GPs, so the head-to-head tiebreaker was used. Since their match ended in a 2-2 tie, the fourth board result was removed, thus giving second place to Cyclists_Archbishop. Unfortunately, our software cannot comprehend all these tiebreakers, and so reverts to alphabetical order after MPs and GPs are tied.
